Machine Operator – Plate Compactor  ( 15 Positions)

Post:  Machine Operator – Plate Compactor 

No. of Vacancies: Fifteen (15) Vacancies 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Operate the allocated plate compactor to perform company works as allocated
  2. Endeavour to detect mechanical faults and immediately report to the designated Officer for appropriate action.
  3. Prepare fuel requisitions in time.
  4. Record machine usage systemically in the provided log sheets.
  5. Keep the allocated machine clean, inter alia, in order to uphold the image of the Company.
  6. Monitor the timing for the servicing and periodic prevalence maintenance and draw the attention of the officer in charge of transport for action.
  7. Report all incidents, minor or major, to the officer in charge of machines.

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

 

  1. Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
  2. Evidence of knowledge and skills in operating a plate Compactor 
  3. Five (5) years’ experience in operating a plate compactor on a construction project.
