Function: Mentorship of staff in health units, carry out monthly support supervision of health units and of the VHTs on IMAM/IYCF activities through attendance of VHT health unit meetings, Participate in the periodic Nutrition Surveillance, Support Health units to manage and make timely forecasts and requests for nutrition supplies, collection and compilation and entry into DHIS2 of nutrition data, Prepare and share analyzed nutrition information and updates in the DHT, Health/ Nutrition Sector working groups (H/NSWGs), District Nutrition Coordination Committees and regional review fora. Support functionality of district Nutrition Coordination Committees. Identify and share good lessons and experiences in the field. Job Requirements: Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food Science and Technology. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage. Experience in nutrition program implementation. Knowledge of current nutrition policy and national agenda.
